Sharat Devisetti joins Orbitworks as our Supply Chain Director.
Sharat is a seasoned procurement and supply chain leader with over two decades of international experience spanning the chemicals, industrial gases, and energy transition sectors. Currently serving as Supply Chain Director at Orbitworks in the UAE, Sharat has driven major transformation and category management initiatives across multinational organizations, including Air Liquide and PIF-backed firms. With an Executive MBA from HEC Paris and a technical foundation in industrial and systems engineering, he specializes in procurement digitization, process automation, and strategy formulation. Sharat is known for his ability to lead complex projects, optimize operational workflows, and implement sustainable procurement strategies that enhance efficiency, vendor performance, and bottom-line results.
Jorn Vanwesenbeeck joins Orbitworks as a Junior Satellite Operations Engineer.
Jorn is a spacecraft operations engineer with a strong background in satellite systems, currently contributing to mission success at Orbitworks in Abu Dhabi. With a Master’s degree in Space Exploration from TU Delft and nearly a decade of experience across European aerospace firms—including Loft Orbital, Bradford Space, and QinetiQ Space—Jorn combines deep technical expertise in radiofrequency systems and thermal control engineering with a passion for space exploration and innovation. He has played pivotal roles in designing, assembling, and optimizing satellite components, and is known for his analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and ability to thrive in multidisciplinary environments. Recipient of the André Kuipers Space Award, Jorn brings a future-focused vision and unwavering enthusiasm to every mission he undertakes.
